We are currently hiring for each of the following categories:
Pharmacist
Great Friday-Sunday Dayshift opportunity for a NY registered Pharmacist with a well run Pharmacy!
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy filling prescriptions
Dispensing of patient medications in compliance with state and federal laws
Review and process electronic prescriptions for accuracy and quality and following physicians' and nurses' orders provided by our customers
Receive and process incoming phone calls from our customers
Process Drug Utilization Review (DUR) of medication orders
Dispense medications or verify the accuracy of the medication and other pharmaceuticals
Maintain strong knowledge of RX Warehouse Pharmacy policies and procedures and applies them consistently
Demonstrate thorough understanding of pharmacy rules and government regulations and dispense accordingly
Consult with physicians and/or nursing staff via telephone regarding medication interactions or patient reactions to medications
Answer a variety of questions as presented by Customer Service Representatives and Technicians
Assist in the supervision and training of Pharmacy Technician and other Rx Warehouse Pharmacy employees
Assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and drug file maintenance
Utilize knowledge of disease-specific needs of the patient in performance of duties and responsibilities
Orient and mentor new pharmacist and technician team members
Demonstrates "leadership by example" in projecting a positive attitude, and involvement in Rx Warehouse Pharmacy employee activities
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors or Pharm.D degree
The following qualities are required:
Current and in good standing New-York pharmacy licenseExcellent oral and written communication skills
Appropriate computer skills for the position and areas of influence
Strong work ethic, with attention to detail and quality
Excellent attendance and attention to detail are extremely important
Demonstrated skills working with technology and equipment related to prescription verification and automated fulfillment/packaging systems is a major plus
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

Pharmacy Technician
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy department by assisting customers and operating the cash register.
Accept customer and prescription information, including refill authorization, from doctor’s offices where permitted by state law.
Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory where permitted by state law.
Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers where permitted by state law.
Place medication into prescription containers where permitted by state law.
Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
Combine medication for dispensing to customers where permitted by state law.
Input customer and prescription data into the computer system where permitted by state law.
Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions where permitted by state law.
Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 1 year experience in retail and/or pharmacy operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum age of 18 years old as required by state law.Ability to pass drug test.

The following qualities are helpful: Ten-key punch speed of four thousand (4,000) SPH. Typing speed of forty (40) WPM. Knowledge of brand and generic drugs by name.

Pharmacy Clerk
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy department by assisting customers and operating the cash register.
As a Pharmacy Clerk, you provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to RX Warehouse Pharmacy customers. In addition, Service Clerks are responsible for:
Entering sales on the cash register and customer service.
Merchandising, store inventory and product ordering.
Maintaining store signage and displays.
Pack filled prescriptions.
Track inventory.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus experience in retail and/or pharmacy operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The following qualities are required:
Ability to pass drug test.Some experience using office machines.
Available to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the business.
Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive.
Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Authorization to work in the United States.
The following qualities are helpful: Typing speed of forty (40) WPM.
